Stage combat or fight choreography is about creating the illusion of physical combat without causing harm to the performers both on stage and on screen. It is closely related to the practice of stunts and is a common field of study for actors. This workshop introduce students to the fundamentals of safety rules in stage combat, the technical aspects of physical conflict and understanding the aesthetics considerations to make a physical conflict scene appealing without compromising narrative engagement with the audience. This class is suitable for students of all physical fitness levels and conditions.

You’ll have to have strong voice acting skills to be able to portray certain characters and this involves changing/moulding your voice according to the requirements of the character that you are playing. In this workshop, you’ll be given one or few characters to play in order to practice the methods that we have introduced to you. We’ll start with the basic vocal projections, pacing and exploring different voice and pitch.
